Her-Story
Trarina Paige is a playwright, producer, director, filmmaker, and author whose work brings scripture into real life through honest, human storytelling. Raised in Chicago and once challenged by reading and writing, Trarina’s journey reflects her belief that God does not wait for perfection to use a voice. Her calling is to create Bible based stage plays and films that confront trauma, silence, injustice, and family conflict, while revealing how God redeems our stories for His purpose in the Kingdom.

Her signature work, TAMAR, embodies this mission. Based on 2 Samuel 13, it tells the story of Tamar, daughter of King David, exposing sexual violence, silence, and the lasting impact of trauma on mental health, relationships, parenting, and faith. TAMAR speaks to women and men across all races, ages, and backgrounds, showing that God’s redemptive love restores dignity, voice, and hope without erasing pain.
Since 2017, TAMAR has been performed eight times, reaching over 4,000 people in live theater and more than 63,000 through streaming, with hundreds of testimonies affirming its impact. Rooted in Christian faith and ecumenical in approach, Trarina’s work reaches both church and unchurched audiences. Her mission now expands into TAMAR: The TV Series, extending this redemptive storytelling to a global audience.
